This program is being co-sponsored by Palmetto Chapter of CMSA in South Carolina and The Stay at Home Nurse.

The speaker and credits are being provided by The Stay at Home Nurse and have been discounted to the Chapter since we are a CMSA member. The Stay at Home Nurse will also be providing a copy to each attendee of their book

" CCM Certification Made Easy 2nd Edition ".

The Stay At Home Nurse provides resources and support to case managers preparing for certification. Over the last 3 years, their resources have been used by thousands of case managers to advance their career. They are excited to announce their new venture, the Case Management Institute where they will provide training and job placement assistance for nurses transitioning to case management as well as continue to support case managers preparing for certification. Target Audience: This program is for Registered Nurses and Social Workers who are planning on taking a case management certification test within the next year. The course is for Beginning to Intermediate Level practitioners. The course is appropriate for all types of case managers such as those working in Mental Health, Hospital, Clinic, Managed Care and Workers' Compensation.


Goal: The goal of this program is to provide the attendees with information which will help them to identify important areas of professional knowledge they must have to pass a certification test.


Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:

1. Review a study guide to prepare for national certification in case management.

2. Gain insights into the practice of case management.

3. Explain a common platform to better understand the role, function and opportunities case managers bring to the broad healthcare system.

4. State the challenges the healthcare team as well as consumers of face and how effective case management programs can help.

5. Understand the important role case managers play in today’s complex healthcare system.

6. Develop their own personalized study plan through interactive discussion.
