Presentation:

Advanced Directives: L*ve or Let D*e

  • The learner will be able to start documenting your own advance directives.
  • The learner will be able to identify at least four (4) advanced directives a patient might want to have.
  • The learner will be able to create an ethical framework to guide discussions related to end of life.

Program Goal: To educate certified case managers, RNs and SWs about the various advanced directives and help them identify the ethical issues around advanced directives.

Credits:

This continuing nursing education activity was provided by Wild Iris Medical Education, Inc. an accredited provider by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation for 1.5 hours of CNE. A joint provider of this program is Case Management Institute (CMI). CCMC Ethics credit for 1.5 hours is approved for this course. The CCMC Code of Professional Conduct will be referenced in this presentation. Educational certificates will be provided at the end of the program. Cost:

This program is free to CMSA members. Non-members need to prepay a $20 fee. Cancellation of a paid reservation received by September 2, 2019 will receive a $19 refund. No refunds can be given after September 2, 2019. To cancel your registration send an email to [email protected] .
